Traditional Bedouin Dinner and Star Gazing

In the heart of Baidha, a community neighboring Petra Archaeological Park, lies a camp run by the local tribe, nestled among mountains and sand dunes. This camp offers traditional Bedouin-style cottages and locally prepared meals, providing an authentic experience. Groups of 10 or more can savor "Zarb," a Bedouin dish made with local lamb, while smaller groups enjoy "Vegetable Sanyah," both cooked in a clay oven. Dine while listening to the captivating sounds of the traditional Rababah and Shababah. After dinner, marvel at the breathtaking starlit sky from the surrounding dunes, guided by a stargazing expert. With no artificial light nearby, the stars shine brilliantly in the complete darkness. The local guide will also share insights into the community's history and culture. This program is supported by the Baidha Tourism Association, with proceeds benefiting the association and the local community.

This Experience includes:

  • Licensed Local guide
